Del 3 al 6 de setiembre, en Sao Paulo, se realizó la Cumbre Mundial de Viajes de Aventura América del Sur (ATWS-SA), organizada por la ATTA (Aventura Trade Association) y la Asociación Empresa Brasileña de Ecoturismo y Turismo Aventura (Abeta). Esta es la primera vez que la ATWS se ha realizado fuera de Norteamérica. Reunió a los más importantes operadores, agencias y marcas relacionadas con el deporte de aventura.
